Terms and Conditions

Prices : All prices include duty and VAT at the current rate. The wine list is updated every 2-3 days and therefore shows the wines currently available. However, it is possible that if we move to a later vintage, the new wine may be at a slightly higher price. If this happens we will contact you to confirm your requirements.

Delivery : There is a delivery charge of £6.99 per address no matter how many cases are ordered. For orders with a value of more than £150 this charge is waived. We deliver throughout the United Kingdom including the Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland. However orders to these areas will be subject to a surcharge of £10 per delivery regardless of order value. For a full list of postcodes affected please click here. The surcharge is applied automatically at the checkout.

Guarantee : In the unlikely event that the wine doesn't live up to your expectations you will be offered either a cash refund or a credit against your next order.

Orders : On-line orders including credit card details are encrypted before being sent to our Banbury office. They will then be processed in a similar way to postal orders. We will contact you if there are any queries, for example with the delivery address, payment details or stock availability. Your card will only be debited when we dispatch your order and delivery should take no more than 3 or 4 days. If you do not receive your case within a week, please contact us on 01295 672 294.

Payment : We only take payment from your credit or debit card on the day we dispatch the wine to you. This is not an online automated process, but it is done manually to ensure all details are correct and up-to-date.

Discounts : The free delivery for your first order is for new customers only and does not apply to existing customers and those living at the same address. The discount is on all prices on our web-site for a minimum order of 12 bottles.The application of a discount at the Checkout stage of an order does not guarantee that discount as this will be validated off-line. We will contact you if we believe that the discount is not valid.

Substitution : Orders are accepted subject to stock remaining unsold. However should a wine become unavailable we reserve the right to replace it with one of similar style of equal or greater value. Please advise us if this is not acceptable.

Age restriction : It is against the law to sell or indeed supply alcohol to people under the age of 18. By placing an order you must be at least 18 years old. If our couriers are in doubt they will request some form of identification. If they are not satisfied they are not permitted to leave the wine.

Privacy Policy : All personal information submitted to us by you will not be shared with any third parties. To ensure the safety of the transactions, your payment details are transmitted over a secure and encrypted connection.
